On the 1st July 2015, SIRC signed grant agreement with the European Commission to implement Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 1 project –  SafeSky, entitled: “SafeSky – Integrated system for critical infrastructure and personal sphere monitoring and protection against aerial threats”. The project is implemented in a consortium of three companies, coordinated by bonda.pl, with participation of Bioseco. The project duration is 4 months, where development of a detailed feasibility study and a business plan is targeted. Close collaboration with a major end-user, Deepwater Container Terminal in Gdansk is foreseen. This project is co-funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 program under grant agreement no 673627.

On the 17th February 2015 SIRC signed contract, Sub-Grant Agreement 2014/A 36, with SOUL-FI accelerator of the FI-WARE EU program for Round A – Ignition and Business Plan. Within the project, SIRC developed a business plan and technical feasibility study for an innovative, radar-based solution for smart cities to increase safety of bicycle riders. The project has been developed in close collaboration with an end-user – Municipal Transportation Company in Gdansk, which operates 220 public buses. The implementation work is on-going. This project was funded by the European Union Seventh Framework Programme FP7/2007-2013 under grant agreement no 632814.

 

Finodex

On the 27th February 2015 SIRC signed contract, Sub-grant Agreement Finodex_036 with FINODEX accelerator of the FI-WARE EU program for Phase 2. Within the project – Drone-ITS, SIRC developed a business plan and technical feasibility study for an innovative, radar-based solution for transport to solve traffic problems with drones equipped with traffic monitoring radars. The project has been developed in close collaboration with an end-user – TRISTAR – operator of intelligent transportation system in the TriCity agglomeration. The implementation work is on-going. This project was funded by the European Union Seventh Framework Programme FP7/2007-2013 under grant agreement no 632838
